Privacy Policy

I. The Parties

  1. Bitnex Markets (hereinafter referred to as "BX") operates www.8bxtrade.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"), a trading platform dedicated to providing clients with CFD trading services for foreign exchange, stock indices, and other derivatives, as well as related services. For ease of reference in this Agreement, the company and the Platform are collectively referred to as "we" or other first-person pronouns.
  2. Any natural person or other entity that logs into the Platform shall be deemed a user of the Platform. For ease of reference in this Agreement, such users are referred to as "you" or other second-person pronouns.
  3. For ease of reference in this Agreement, "we" and "you" are collectively referred to as the "Parties," and individually as a "Party."

II. Purpose of the Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy defines the types of information we collect from you through your login to the Platform, registration on the Platform and/or use of the services we provide, as well as how such information is used and protected.

III. Your Consent

To ensure that you have full confidence in how we handle your personal data, it is important that you carefully read and understand the provisions of this Privacy Policy. In particular, once you log in to the Platform, whether or not you complete registration, you are deemed to have indicated your acceptance, consent, commitment, and confirmation of the following:
  1. You voluntarily consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data.
  2. You agree to comply with all provisions and restrictions set forth in this Privacy Policy.
  3. You consent to our collection of your information when you log in to the Platform, register on the Platform, and/or use the services we provide. You further agree to any subsequent amendments to this Privacy Policy.
  4. You consent to our branches, affiliates, and employees contacting you regarding products and services that may be of interest to you (unless you have expressly indicated that you do not wish to receive such communications).

IV. Information Collected

  1. When you use the Platform, you consent to our use of cookies to track your activities. This includes collecting and storing information such as your IP address, geographic location, and other relevant data.
  2. If you wish to use the services provided on the Platform, you will be required to provide the following types of information:
    1. Identity Information – This includes, but is not limited to, your full name, residential and mailing address, identity documents or certificates issued by governmental authorities, identification numbers, and any other information necessary to verify your identity (collectively referred to as “Identity Information”).
    2. Service Information – This includes information necessary for us to contact you and provide services, such as your telephone number, fax number, valid email address, mailing address, debit card information, and/or other account details (collectively referred to as “Service Information”).
  3. In connection with your use of the Platform or its services, we may collect additional information deemed necessary to improve system functionality and enhance security. Such information may also be collected pursuant to applicable laws, regulations, or lawful orders issued by courts or governmental authorities.
  4. If you access or use any third-party platforms or services linked to this Platform, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the independent privacy policies of those third parties. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or activities of such third-party platforms or cooperating partners.

V. Cookies

  1. When you visit our Platform, we use cookies and GoogleStats to monitor performance and evaluate the effectiveness of online advertisements. A cookie is a small data file that is sent to your browser and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are only activated when you use your computer to access our Platform.
  2. Cookies are commonly used to record visitors’ browsing habits and preferences on our Platform. The information collected through cookies is aggregated statistical data and does not contain any personally identifiable information.
  3. Cookies cannot be used to obtain data from your hard drive, your e-mail address, or other personal information.     3. To improve and enhance the Platform and our services (based on the information and feedback you provide, so that we may respond to your requests and support needs more effectively);
    4. To compile statistical data regarding the usage of our Platform;
    5. To personalize your experience (your information helps us to better tailor our services and responses to your individual needs);
    6. To process transactions (your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or otherwise disclosed to any other company without your consent, except as necessary to complete the transaction you have requested);
    7. To send you regular emails (the email address you provide for order processing may be used to send you information and updates related to your order, as well as occasional news and details of related products or services);
    8. To fulfill other purposes set out in the User Agreement for the Platform and any other lawful purposes necessary to meet our contractual and regulatory obligations.
  2. We will not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to other parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Platform, conducting our business, or providing services to you, so long as those parties agree to keep such information strictly confidential. We may also disclose your information when we believe disclosure is appropriate in order to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests, to enforce our platform rules, ensure the proper operation of the Platform, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, as well as those of others. However, your information will not be disclosed to any third party for marketing, advertising, or other unrelated purposes.

VII. Protection of Personal Data

  1. We implement appropriate physical, electronic, administrative, and technical measures to safeguard and protect your personal data. We endeavor to ensure that any personal data collected through our Platform is secured and protected from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure by unrelated third parties. The security measures we adopt include, but are not limited to:
    1. Physical Measures: Records containing your personal data are kept in secured and locked locations.
    2. Electronic Measures: Personal data is stored on computer systems and storage devices that are subject to strict access controls.
    3. Administrative Measures: Access to your personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only, who are required to comply with our internal confidentiality policies.

    5. Other Measures: Our web servers are protected by firewalls.
  2. If you become aware of any security vulnerabilities or incidents related to our Platform, you should promptly notify us so that we can take appropriate remedial action.
  3. Notwithstanding the above protective measures, we cannot guarantee that data transmission over the Internet will always be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee that any personal data you provide to us through our Platform will remain secure at all times. We shall not be held liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your personal data that occurs despite our security measures.

VIII. Revision of Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. When revisions are made, we will update and post the effective date of the new version and, where appropriate, highlight the changes. From time to time, we may also issue notices informing you of revisions to this Privacy Policy, but such notification is not our obligation. You should regularly review this Privacy Policy and remain informed of any updates. If you do not agree with the revised content, you must immediately stop accessing the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following the release of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acknowledgment and agreement to comply with the revised Privacy Policy.

IX. Communication with Us

  1. If you have any requests or comments, you may contact us using the official contact information published on the Platform (hereinafter referred to as “valid contact information”), which is the only official email address or telephone number we will use to communicate with you. We are not responsible for any failure, action, or inaction resulting from your use of invalid contact information.
  2. We will publish announcements and information solely through valid contact information or official notices on the Platform. We are not liable for any losses you incur as a result of relying on information obtained through any channels other than those described herein.
